The Dead-block is the final Take-up on a draw line. It is designed for continuous operation while changing out wire carriers.

EMC offers two sizes:

       A) “HD” Series for heavy wire:

  • Block Sizes: 16-36” Dia
  • Speed Range: Up to 4000 FPM
  • Wire Sizes: Up to .400 Dia

        *Horse Powers to 200

       B) “MD” Series for intermediate sizes:

  • Block Sizes: 16-30" Dia
  • Speed Range: Up to 4000 FPM
  • Wire Sizes: Up to .200 Dia

        *Horse Powers to 75
